How Does Wagestream Work?
At the touch of a button, the Wagestream app allows you to access a portion of your earned income: every hour of every day. Log in to the app to view accrued wages, approved and submitted by your employer, then instantly select the amount you wish to stream directly into your bank account.
How is my available balance to stream calculated?
The amount available to stream is based on two variables:
- Worked shifts must be approved and submitted by your employer. This process can be instant, or it can be performed weekly, depending on the company with which you are employed.
- Your employer determines the percentage of your earned wages available to you; typically between 30-50%.
What is the cost to use Wagestream?
Each stream, no matter the amount, will only ever cost a convenience fee of £1.75. Wagestream is not a loan. We do not provide any credit, and there will never be any interest charges.
How will my salary be affected?
At the end of the pay period, any of your net salary not already accessed will be paid as normal, minus any convenience fees. You will also receive a monthly statement detailing any activity you have made.
How is Wagestream connected to my employer?
Wagestream is a benefit provider that allows you access to your earned wages. We rely solely on the information provided by your employer to bring you this financial wellness service. However, we cannot make any changes to your payroll, and any wage or salary discrepancies must be taken to your HR team.
